Every few years, a designer will try to bring a really bad idea back and make it trendy.

These designers think that just because they are who they are that the trend will magically go from fugly to fierce.

Newsflash: even Mui Mui can’t save the socks/sandals combo.

But, socks and sandals are two words that should never be used in the same sentence.  Let alone on the same foot.

I just don’t understand why otherwise-sane people would walk down the street with what appear to be rubber wiffle balls strapped to their feet.

Oh, wait.  Those are Crocs.

I don’t know where this trend came from…but unless you’re:

(a) Too young to pick out your own clothes

(b) Wading through ankle-deep water without wanting to lose your footing

The Croc should never be used as anything other than a fashion punch-line.

Attention all lollipop-headed anorexic-looking fashion victims!

You look like gigantic bugs when you wear sunglasses like those pictured above.

I get that you’re trying to channel the timelessly elegant Jaqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis.

But it’s not working.

Eat a sandwich and then we’ll talk.

I hate seeing people walking around with the Bluetooth headset in their ear even when they’re not on the phone.

It’s not an earring, people. 

It’s not even remotely cute.

It’s purely functional.

The Bluetooth headset helps you talk on your phone while driving and avoid car wrecks.

But, wear one while you’re not driving/talking and you are a fashion wreck!!

All reports about NYC’s fashion week are abuzz with positive feedback for Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. fashion label.

Stefani kicked off NYC’s Fashion week by filling the largest venue with fashion insiders and celebrity friends. The end of her show brought thunderous applause and a standing ovation.

I’m so happy that L.A.M.B. seems to be working well for her, she’s definitely a fashionista with unforgettable style.

And I’m glad Gwen realized the braces-and-pink-hair look doesn’t work past middle school.
